Obituary of Gerry Read

Gerry peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 69 years of age.

Beloved husband of Rachel. Loving dad of Jason (Melanie) Read and  Lyndsay (Dan) Dubois. Proud papa of Kaitlyn, Sarah; Jacob and Noah. Dear brother of Joanna (Art) Meeke, late Richard (Pat) Read and late Barry (Linda) Read. Gerry will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11 a.m.

In Gerry's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
