I worked many years with Rey at TCHC. He was a fountain of knowledge and interesting to spend time with. We spent many hours patrolling the underground and parking lots in his communities. Years ago Rey made me a beautiful coral coloured pottery pitcher which I'll cherish forever. My deepest condolences to his family & loved ones.

I was part of the Blue Castle Drive posse and grew up with Rey. I have fond memories of the many parties at the Campbell’s home and the fun we all had during our Christmas, Easter and in particular the summer holidays. . We all went our different ways after high school and therefore lost touch for many years. We reconnected several years later and did some catching up. So sorry to hear of Rey’s passing. My condolences to his family and friends. May his soul R.I.P.✝️

Rey and I grew up together as youngsters in Bluecastle; ended up at the same college in Calgary, were married for years, and subsequently divorced. In truth we've known each other almost our entire lives. That can't be erased or glossed over. It was shockingly sad to get the call that he exited so suddenly. He departed as he had lived, spontaneously, heartily, creatively, and full of surprises. Walk good Rey. A new adventure awaits you, embrace it ❤️ Condolences to Robert, a dearest friend, and all who experienced the Rey magic.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Rey. As boys we were neighbours. Rey taught me how to make a kite and how to fly them. I have only fond memories from our Castle Terrace days where we were neighbours
Rest in Peace my old friend

Our deepest condolences to Rey's Family. I worked with Rey for many years at MTHA/TCHC in the Community Safety Unit. The man is a legend, best example of Community Based Policing I have seen.
Truly an enormous loss to his family and his extended family.
Rest in Peace my friend!
