I first met Helen back at WHCI. The school expanded in grades 9, 10 & 11 and then Lester B Pearson C.I. was completed and Helen transfered to complete grades 12 & 13. We shared math classes and a few other courses and always had an interesting time talking together. Helen (and Keith) reappeared at Scarborough College for what we collectively referred to as Grade 14. I always fondly remember our times at the pub and Helen complaining about all of the homework that we had to do. She was always great company.
My forever memories of Helen include: Her large automoblies and offering rides after classes, being the designated driver and the responsible individual that she was, Helen's expert knowledge and understanding of the insurance business, Country & Western Music appreciator and promoter, smoking cigarettes before lectures in Economics, East Coast Lobster, and Godmother to my daughter Ava. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
We will meet again. Lots of love and peace,
The Stephen Gardner Famiily.

Am so sorry to learn of Helen’s passing. We met in the mid 1980’s when we were underwriters - probably at an industry convention. Helen suffered from debilitating migraines yet she remained committed to her professionalism. She came to help us at Forester’s when we were inundated with business. I valued her balanced counsel then & our occasional contacts since.
For the family & friends that knew & loved her - may your memories sustain you during this difficult time.

Helen was my best friend. We met at 15 years old and have shared a lifetime of great times and memories. Your life was not easy with chronic migraines but you tried your best and loved your dogs, family and friends.
As the song by Crowded House "You better be home soon" says, that we sang many times together, " somewhere deep inside, something's got a hold on me" that is the love and friendship we shared deeply always wanting the best for each other. My partner Tony respected our friendship and he is also very saddened by your unexpected passing. I will miss you but know you are in a better place now with your parents who you loved very much.
Love Keith
