Lawrence "Larry" Guay

Obituary of Lawrence "Larry" Guay

With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Lawrence "Larry" Thomas Jamieson Guay, on Monday, May 20th, 2024.

He is survived by his mother Joanne, sister Ashley, brother Brandon, sister-in-law Linda and though he left us before she was born, his niece Peyton. He is predeceased by his father Gerald. He is also survived by several furry family members. He will be greatly missed by his extended family, as well as his many friends.

Lawrence had a deep passion for the outdoors, something nurtured during his many years in Scouting. He had a boundless love of animals and often went out of his way to learn more about them and to share this knowledge so others could appreciate them too.  He had a keen eye for photography and was known around Bradford for his beautiful photos that showcased the natural beauty of the world. He had at least one fun fact for so many topics, but his expertise when it came to the art of cooking was undeniable. He will be remembered for these passions along with so much more, and his legacy will live on through every picture he took.

A celebration of life will be held at the Bradford Legion, 115 Back St, on Saturday July 13th, 2024, from 1-4pm.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to CAMH or to the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust, an organization Lawrence was involved with, or other animal / or wilderness conservation charities.
