Obituary of Joao Augusto Balugas

Joao peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 93 years of age.

Beloved husband of Arminda. Loving father of Isaura (Carlos) Da Silva, John (Lucy) Balugas, Maria (Jose) Cruz-Dias (late Antonio Cruz) and Luisa (Paulo) Coquim. Proud Avô of Sylvia, Neil (Kim), Jessica, Mason (Vanessa), Danny (Danielle), Michael, Cassandra (Decio), Andrew, Anthony (Jessica) and Celina. Cherished Bisavô of Sophia, Scarlet, Chloe, Trey, Nolan, Mianna, Keanu and Micky.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa Street, Bradford on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Cemetery, Bradford.
