Obituary of Walter Weening

Walter peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 86 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Jeannette. Loving father of Charlene (Scott) Baptist, Juanita (John) Lawson, Wes (Kristyn) Weening and Derek Weening. Proud grandfather of Kurt, Camille (Tyler), Ben, Myla, Max, Sydney and Olivia. Walter will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings and all of their families.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Memorial service will be held at the Barrie Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 101 Ardagh Rd., Barrie on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 1 p.m. Private family interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.
