My lovely neighbour of 34 years, who will be missed terribly. Miss the good times chatting over the fence, feeding apples to the horses, and having a good laugh around the dining room table. Many happy memories, you will remain in our hearts forever. Dot & Derek

To say we are sad to lose such a good friend is such a gross understatement, but we just don’t know how to express our true sense of loss and sadness. We have enjoyed so many holiday dinners and get togethers over the years you will always have a seat at our table and a place in our hearts. Your sense of humour, wonderful laugh and good spirits will be so missed. So many conversations over the fence, or listening to you sing at the top of your lungs as you rode your tractor with your head phones on, struggling to get a snow blower out of the ditch while laughing so hard it rendered us useless, plus so many other occasions are all such wonderful memories that we treasure oh so deeply. You my friend were one in a million, one we were so blessed to have in our lives, one we miss so terribly already, the other only child…. Rest easy my friend…..Dereth & Dale

Deb was one of a kind, beautiful, loving and caring. She could always put a smile on your face. She will be greatly missed but I know we all now have an angel watching over us. Love you Deb

Deb and I worked side by side for many years. We have laughed and we have cried together over the last 35 years as we shared so many of lifes experiences. I will miss her friendship and love. Fly with the angels Boo.

There are a lot of Debs in our family, and Deborah Smith was known as Deb3, although I must admit I like DQ (dancing queen) much better! She was a very strong, independent lady, and at times stubborn (something she blamed on being an only child!). She loved to laugh, and was ready for any crazy endeavor we had, like making homemade pretzels or making a watermelon into a work of art. I miss the late night movie binging and her sense of humor and laughter. DQ fought hard against cancer. She is in no pain now, but the world has lost a wonderful person who will be sorely missed. Whereever you are DQ, love you lots! Deb1

Went to Ballantrae school grade one with her. Remember making tissue paper roses in Mrs Bs class. Watched in awe when she skated with me as a teen on Musselmans Lake. A very genuine person. If there is a "heaven" she has a speed pass at the gates.
