Obituary of Neil Gordon Pearson

May 8, 1966 to October 17, 2024
Neil passed away at home, peacefully and surrounded by love, after enduring liver cancer with
the greatest of grace and fortitude, for over a year. Despite the circumstances, he retained his
quirky sense of humour and continued to play little practical jokes right up to the very end. Neil
loved his vegetable garden, running with our dogs and exploring trails around the Uxbridge
area. He always had a thoughtful way of looking at things and his keen mind meant he could fix
or find a solution to just about anything.
Neil was a great man and his kindness, love, wit, wisdom, and intelligence will be greatly missed
by his wife of 32 years, Brenda; his daughter Jessie and her partner Thomas; his son James and
his partner Sheridan; father Gerald and step-mom Carole Ann; his brother Eric and sister-in-law
Heather; nephew Andrew and his wife Sarah; niece Shannon; friends of over 30 years, Ruth and
Bruce, and the many other people whose lives Neil touched. Neil is predeceased by his mother
Annette.
Thank you to Dr. Luk, Dr. Baguio, Nurses Chandra and Alannah at Southlake Regional Health Centre's Stronach Cancer Centre and the home care team who all took such good care of Neil.
