Don, you were such a light! From the first time I met you in the parking lot of your building doing your fancy exercises I knew you were something special.
I couldn’t help but walk up to you and ask you what in the world you were doing… you laughed and said what does it look like I’m doing!!! I knew we would be friends. Your sense of humour was refreshing. From that day, we talked every day when I came to the building to work with the doggies.
From our breakfast adventures, you showing me the place with the special mushrooms, stories about your poetry, all about your horses and all the times you joined me on my walks! We had quite the time.
Not only that, but my Nana got to meet you along the way and she called you “Her tall cowboy”. She may or may not have had a little crush. You and her reminisced about life on the farm and what it was like growing up at that time! You also became her friend.
I will miss hearing you say “how yous doing” & I will miss telling you “stay out of trouble”
Ciao -
Angie & Nana♥️
