Obituary of Leif Sejrup

How do you take 94 years of life filled with adventure, travel and love of family friends and four legged creatures and put it all on one page?  You can't!  

Leif peacefully passed away at Victoria Village Manor, Barrie on Tuesday December 17, 2024.   A man of quiet stature, well placed quips of humour, and unconditional love for his family.   Leif was always an example of a truly good man.  Rare was the person who could meet him and not like him, as Leif practiced the philosophy of, "if you can smile at someone and they smile back, then the day is won!

Dad/Morfar, you taught us all about unconditional love and faith in human kindness.  The world wasn't always kind but you always were.  You left a spot at the table that is tough to fill.

Beloved husband of the late Else Sejrup.  Loving father of the late Susanne Green, Lisbeth Goodyear, Kirsten Evans and late Lone Sejrup.  Proud Morfar of Peter (Lindsay), Megan, Jamie, late Thomas, Jessica (Jean-Christophe), Chase (Emily) and Gage.  Great Morfar of Adam, Wynter, Evelyn and Grayson.

A special shout out to all the staff at Victoria Village who took such good care of Leif! 

Private family arrangements will be held at a later date.

In Leif's memory, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, Autism Society or the charity of your choice.
