Toddy and family, I was fortunate to have worked alongside and spent considerable time with Don who I considered a true friend and exceptional individual. I can only imagine what the family has been through and the heartbreak involved as he battled hard to beat his cancer. Don will long be remembered for his outstanding contribution of many years to the Acklands organization and the automotive and industrial industries. Don was one of a kind and his optimistic outlook on life and his dedication to family and friends was extra-ordinary.
Our thoughts are with you during this trying time and we wish you all the best,
Doug Cumming and family

Toddy and family; we will miss Don's phone calls just to say hi, his sense of humour, and baritone voice. He was a unique person in our lives. And has left a void that is irreplaceable.
I won't forget the time he earned his nick name "sweet-lips" talking his way out of a ticket on the Caloosahatchee River.
We are thinking of you. God Bless. Lee, Joyce and Lauren Gottdank

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Don during my days at Acklands. He was constantly smiling, always in good humour, perpetually upbeat. As an executive he made it so easy for others to follow his lead. He accepted complex challenges and invariably resolved matters more than satisfactorily.
I am certain that God is now enjoying his company.
It is hard to console the family at a time like this, but it is my hope and prayer that with the passage of time your fond memories of Don will provide you with a measure of comfort.
May you know no more sorrow,

The lovely words written in Don's obituary capture the memory I have of him. From the first time I heard of Don he made me smile. He was riding his bike through Old Bridge Village looking for Leo, calling out his name and stopping newcomers to ask if they might be Leo. I never saw Don without a smile. I often saw him riding his bike, and enjoyed moments at his home as he held the position of ultimate host right alongside Toddy, and that is how I will remember him.
Loving thoughts go out to Toddy and the family.

I would like to extend my condolences and thoughts to all the Langton family.
After having been a part of the extended Warren/Langton family for over 30 years it is sad for me to say goodbye to a truly unique man who entertained us all and lived a life of laughter and smiles.
One of my fav moments years ago was seeing Donny playing the banjo @ his house party.
What a shindig!
After a few years of getting to know him?
On one evening after @ a festive family dinner @ Uncle Donny’s?
Donny takes me into the basement and shows me his personal 'sport jacket' collection.
WOW!
The greatest ‘loud sport jacket’ collection I have ever seen!
Donny says, “You want them? There yours.”
2 musicians in the basement.
Are you kidding!?!?
Gonna miss you Donny.
And I will carry on the 'Don Langton Collection Style'.
And. I know your smiling right now Donny.
And that makes me smile too.
Dave.
