My best memory of Uncle Ed and family was when they visited us in New Jersey. I was just a kid, maybe 8 or 9 - Janice and Joanne were right in the age range with Kathleen (my sister) and me. I was really looking forward to seeing them, as I knew we'd have fun at the shore and maybe New York City.
When Uncle Ed called saying he was lost in the "wilds of New Jersey", Dad (Bill Ryan) and I hopped into the Vista Cruiser to lead the way.
It was one of the few times I got to spend a solid amount time with my aunt and uncle from Montreal, and it was a special treat.
You will be missed Uncle Ed. Your "Ryan Humour" was always in good form!
Safe journeys to heaven,
Theresa (Ryan,) Ian, Bronwyn, and Melanie Dowsett
