Many years ago, I was referred to Mr Mol through the Link Roads Animal Clinic as I was looking for a Breeder for a Pet Budgie and after contacting Mr Mol, I was introduced to my soon to be Rocky Budgeboa. I had Rocky for almost 10 wonderful years and he developed quite the vocabulary.
Thank you Mr Mol for all you did for a Newbie Budgie owner and now I am proud to say I have several budgies in my home and have raised several babies over the years. May you RIP and condolences to Pauline and your family and friends

At this difficult time in your life, Pauline, I pray that you will have serenity and peace to get through this. Stay strong and know that you are remembered in my thoughts and prayers.
When taking Jake’s workshops one knew that he cared about his students. The afternoons that I took your watercolour classes I often seen Jake working outside and attending to his garden. I have a fond memory of one of Jake’s conversations he shared about some new garden tool he was using that wasn’t living up to its advertised promise. I got the impression that he had a lot of garden tools! Jake was so down-to-earth. He was warm, friendly and caring. Jake had a great sense of humour and always graciously willing to lend a hand. I am honoured and blessed to have known Jake Mol. With a heavy heart I extend my deepest sympathy for you and your family. Hugs, Donna Wilson – Toronto Watercolour Society.

Jake has been a long time member of the Netherlands Luncheon Club in Toronto.
Jake for many years donated each year one of his beautiful paintings for the prize draw at our annual NLC Sinterklaas/Christmas event in December.
Many of his paintings adorn our members houses.
I had the pleasure of visiting Jake’s Red Barn, a month ago with my in-laws, Marianne and Anton Baljet, to pick up the NLC painting. As always I was impressed by his calm nature and friendliness. Marianne and Anton bought a lovely painting and en enjoy looking at it every day.
On behalf of Marianne and Anton Baljet and the members of the Netherlands Luncheon Club, we pass on our sincere condolences to Jake’s family and friends. Jake will be missed.

Was very saddened to hear of Jake’s passing. I had the pleasure of learning from Jake at a Watercolour workshop in London, Ontario as well as dining at his home as an out-of-Towner while participating in a three day workshop lead by Frank Webb. He has certainly left his mark in the Canadian Art World. His vibrant, caring personality will he surely missed.
My sincere condolences to Pauline and family.
Sincerely,
Patti Fisher

My sincerest condolences to all family members of Uncle Jim. I have some very fond memories as a young girl with Uncle Jim, Margaret and Adelaide and Tante Martha, singing in the car "over the mountains", the amazing basement in Agincourt and how Uncle Jim would only tell you enough about the items down there to keep your imagination running wild. Mostly, I remember Uncle Jim's kind dark eyes and then he would smile and I would feel he was only paying attention to me. Uncle Jim always made me feel like a very special person. The last time I saw Uncle Jim he was doing a showing in Aurora, I went, and there was that smile when he saw me and I was that special little girl once again. Truly an amazing painter, but more, a very special man. God's speed Uncle Jim.
With Love Always,
your neice,
Rita

He was my friend since 1952. A boyhood friendship that lasted for 66 years. We grew up together you might say in Toronto. Many might whisper they never grew up. He was 17, I was 15 and here we are: at 81, I have to say goodbye to him at 83. That is hard. Only in later years did I call him Jake. Most of my life he was "Jimmy." Many loved him like I did and do, all respected him. Most if not all my adventures at a younger age were shared with Jim. We started canoeing and camping together in 1953.We started looking at girls about the same time. We have hunted together in Ontario, Alberta, and B.C. We have fished together all over Ontario and in the Atlantic. We have argued about almost everything and nothing throughout our lives. We joined the RCMP together in 1957 and survived the horses in 30 below dressed in buffalo coats. We learned to fly together in Regina. He was a good pilot. We began dreaming of our own hunt camp in 1959 and today together with other good friends we own the 1100 acre camp Loforna. and Jake never stopped working to make it nicer. His art and that of Pauline is very well known and desired and I am so fortunate that Ricky and I own some of it. This is my Jimmy, gone from our midst but remembered and loved in my heart. Ralph Sr.
