Obituary of Carol Visser
Carol peacefully passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Carol Visser (nee Miedema) of Barrie and formerly of Bradford in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Bas. Loving mom of Bastian, Wayne and Valerie (George) Rooney. Proud grandma of Carson, Jaxon; Matthew (Kyla), Melissa; Josholyn and William. Dear sister of late Elisabeth (late Gerrit) Vanderploeg, Ann (John) Vanderploeg, late Joanne (late Sid) Miedema and Sid (Della) Miedema. Carol will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Friends may be received at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 12 noon. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In Carol’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or CNIB.
