Obituary of Gary Lee
(45 year member of the Maple Downs Golf and Country Club family) Gary peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Gary Lee of Bradford and formerly of Newmarket and Aurora in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Nola (nee McCarthy). Loving dad of Brent (Shayna) Lee, Shannon (Dustin) Crowe and predeceased by Kyle Lee. Proud Poppa of Gavin and Thomas Crowe, and Baby Lee “on the way”. Cherished son of Phyllis and the late Robert Lee. Dear brother of Bob (Sherry), Rosemary (Scott) and Bonnie (Paul). Dear brother-in-law of Colleen, Carol (Mike) and Brendan (Ellen). Gary will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, colleagues and many friends. Friends will be received at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Newmarket. In Gary’s memory, donations may be made to the Kyle Lee Tribute Fund for Leukemia Research at Sick Kids Foundation.
