I was 12 years of age when I first met Blake. I sat beside this gental giant for three years in the church choir. I remember singing my heart out, mostly off key, and it didn’t matter because Blake’s beautiful voice would drowned mine.
My sincere condolences to the Constable family. Tom Townsend

We just heard of Blake’s passing into his eternal life. As children we remember him singing in the Church choir and picking up the farm cattle. His life was a life well lived. It is incredible to think of the things he saw and did over 94 years. With sympathy to all his family. On behalf of the Hillock family, Marie Stefnik & Marion Imrie

Dear Susan and family. I am so sorry to hear about Blake’s passing. He was a wonderful man. I first meet Blake at the Stockyards with my Dad he also was a drover from Milton, later in life I met him again through my late husband Don. I have a lot of fond memories of Blake. He had a terrific laugh and boy did he LOVE to dance. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. He will be missed. Love and hugs. Susan Brethet-Coulter (Shields)

My Deepest condolensces to the Constable family on the passing of Blake. I have fond memories of him in the choir at Churchill Church and at a lot of the community events in Gilford and Churchill. I always thought Blake had a larger than life personality! He was a great friend to our family and neighbour growing up on Hwy 89. He will be missed, I was very saddened to hear of his passing.

It was with sadness that we learned of Blake’s passing. At the the same time, we were buoyed by the memories of the many wonderful productions that we worked on together over the years at The South Simcoe Theatre. From playing a warm and sensitive Matthew in Anne of Green Gables to the warm and cuddly Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, Blake always brought his considerable talent, sense of fun and work ethic to everything he did.
Thank you, Blake, for making all of our lives so much richer.
Affectionately
Steven and Irene Thomas

It is with the 'very deepest of sympathy' - and at the same time with 'the fondest of memories' that I send my personal condolences to the Constable family in this time of such heart felt sorrow.
I was close to the Constable family as a young man and have some very favourable memories of same.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the Visitation or Funeral Service because of mobility issues.
All the very best and my kindest regards to the extended and direct Constable family - Glenn Vogan.......

My condolences to Susan and the Constable family. I met Blake in 1995 when I joined the South Simcoe Theatre. I got to know him while on the Board of Directors and performing in several shows together. Blake was the kindest, loveliest man and our theatre family will miss him terribly. I will hold close my memories of him singing, which gave him so much joy.
