Obituary of Joan Sale

Joan peacefully passed away with family at her side at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 79 years of age. Beloved mother of Nicole (Bruce) Taylor and late Fred "Butch" Sale. Predeceased by her sisters Gloria Baylis and Fay Garsia. Proud Mimi of Tammi Myers and Chayna Sale. Cherished great Mimi of Joshua, Zackhery, Mikayla and Shirley. Joan will be fondly remembered by her niece Janet (Volney) Myers, nephew Lionel Baylis and many extended family members. Special thanks to the staff at the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre, St. Elizabeth Health Care and Matthews House Hospice for their compassionate care of Joan. At Joan's request, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In Joan's memory, donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket or to Matthews House Hospice.
