Dear family
I am so sorry I couldn’t be there for you for the departure of my dear beloved brother but you all know my heart is there anyway. We all know his pain and suffering is over, thank God. I’m so glad that he has given his heart to the lord a long time ago. So we as christians know where he has gone. May God bless you my brother, you are at peace with our heavenly father in his heavenly arms. No more harm can come to you now. I hope and pray we will meet some day when God comes to take me home.
The conversation before the last one, he made a joke. My son, Bubby was reaching me how to text and I texted Bobby. I wrote “ hi brother, I love you. He responded back saying “I love you too!”. Then I said “ I will be up soon to see you” and he said “that would be nice and see how you saved a stamp by texting me and now you should learn how to use that tablet I gave to you two years ago.”
God bless you all, I love you all.
Love sister Florence & family

Uncle Bob
Uncle Bob was one of a kind
Quiet, smooth and right on time
He was the kind of man who like to tease
Favorite saying: I will have two piece fish n chips please
And snapping pictures before you could say cheese
He came for support, when I was about to give birth, I was so pleased
He pick me up from Toronto train station, look at all my luggage, all he could say was “gees”
Always telling me, you don’t have to bring all that stuff
Four kit bags, three suitcases, 1 cooler and two food bags was too much
He wasn't about cops and Handcuffs
No worries, he had a wife who is strong and tough
When he was mad he would roll his eyes and make a fuss
Taking on the mother role when I was in Toronto
Telling me who to talk to and where to go
He had to call his sister down home to let her know
When he come home, my car was for him to take
The last meal he made for me was a t- bone medium rare steak
Complaining in a nice way of how much I ate
I was so grateful to have Uncle Bob in my life
And his supporting loving wife
Calling him dad sometimes because it felt right
I hurt because of not being there when he died that night
He didn’t make a sound and he died without a fight
I feel in my heart that he will be alright
Hey auntie, I know you will miss him, you two were so so so tight
You were the one who encouraged him to eat less and eat right
His legacy lives on; an authentic sweet man, well liked
Tears of joy come not because you are gone
You are with the Lord, that could never be wrong
Love you always Uncle Bob, so long
Love your niece Leah

Hi family,
So sorry to see Uncle Bob go, he is not here anymore but he is surrounded by peace and llove. Now we have to draw on our memories of him. Like when he used to shake his legs back and forth and when he cracked his dry jokes. He used to make comments about how much food we would cook but you can be sure he didn't say no when it came time to eating it. I’ll miss his smiles and our family gatherings with him.
I remember when I was sent to Toronto to babysit Bobbie, Pip and Corey for the summer when I was twelve. On one occasion, I was getting ready to step in a warm hot bath, I was just about to put my foot in the water and Bobbie yelled “ Janet I got something important to tell you.” I said “ what is it”. Bobbie said “ Pip sprayed raid in your bath water and good for you”. So I slapped them both and Bobbie started cursing and got mouthy so I thought it was a good idea to put cayenne pepper in her mouth and she said “ I am telling mom and daddy what you did” and I said “I will tell myself”. When Uncle Bob and Aunt Sharon got home, I told them. I was expecting to get in trouble but Aunt Sharon took my side, so take that Bobbie (haha).
Love you Aunt Welma, Aunt Sharon, Bobbie, Roberta, Pip and Corey. Please know that I’m praying for you all for comfort and peace.
Love Janet

Uncle Bobby was a man of his word who loved his family deeply, who enjoyed travelling and cooking. One thing I loved about my Uncle Bob was spending time with him when he came home during his summer vacations. Uncle Bobby was a man who never judged a person and always there for you when in need. Uncle Bobby was a kind hearted person who would give you the shirt off his back. Uncle Bobby will certainly be missed by all the family and friends. He left a lasting impression on all of us.
May you rest in peace Uncle bobby

Every year since I was a kid I looked forward to seeing my uncle Bob come to visit us in Halifax. He was my role model as a dad. He was there for anyone. I learned so much from him growing up. He was the example of what I wanted to be as a man, a good father and great friend. He was always encouraging and supportive. Uncle Bob was a quiet man but had alot to say when he spoke, he knew everybody and was loved by all. My mom, his sister always lit up when he was around or when he called her. Mom loved her little brother. You will be missed Uncle Bobby and forever in our hearts.

I did not have the fortune or luck of growing up with Bobby, but my luck and fortune changed when he came out to B.C. to visit Kevin. At that time we were introduced to this man called Bobby, who quickly became Uncle Bobby, and even quicker became family. His ability to embrace anyone in the room and make them feel special was an amazing skill. He was a jewel of a human being and a beacon of light and love to whomever was lucky enough to have known him. Thank you so much for being such an amazing human Uncle Bobby. We have been truly blessed by having you in our lives. My condolences and love to the Munroe family.

Uncle Bob, Kevin and I will miss you so much. You were such a big part of our lives, like a father to Kevin. He has many fond memories as a young boy, which you alway included him on family trips. You were his mentor and best Uncle ever.
We looked forward to many trips you and Aunt Wilma made to Victoria, lots of good times & laughs.
We always laughed when you asked for apple juice on late night of socializing, thinking Aunt Wilma didn't know, you enjoyed your crown with Kevin.
The time when we drove our motorhome from Victoria and picked you up in Toronto, heading to Halifax on a roady to pick up Mom( Florence). We had some good laughs. I remember when we were heading back driving thru New Brunswick and it was pouring rain, so bad we could’nt even see 6 ft in front of us. I was driving and I asked you, should I pull over cause you were my co driver and you said yes. We pulled over onto side of the road, and when we came to a complete stop, we were two ft behind a 18 wheeler, friggin scary. We looked at each other and said someone is watching over us.
We have many stories and great memories which we will hold near & dear to our hearts. We thank you for them and we are so grateful for your presence in our lives. We will miss your regular phone calls, you were such an amazing caring man. It’s hard right now to deal with your loss but in time we will laugh and talk about all the fun times we shared. We love you Uncle Bob, forever Kevin, Kelly, Jude & Gio

He had a beautiful laugh, a quiet nature, and a unique humor. Bob and Wilma are a unique couple, caring, thoughtful and devoted to each other, it was there for all to see. It is with great saddens and peace that I convey my condolences to his loving wife, Wilma and their family.
I hope the sadness of Bob's passing is graced with the joy he brought to others, the memories of laughter and good times, love and friendship which he shared with many. I will miss working with Bob, who audited the books for both the Golden Anchor and Happy Sixties Senior Clubs where he was a dedicated member who loved playing cards.
He will be greatly missed, but I am happy that he will be at rest and peace now. May this bring comfort to his family during this time of grieving and bring healing to them.
