Obituary of Robert Munroe
Bob was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where his family had lived for many generations.
Bob worked for Canada Post for over 30 years, and it was here that he met the love of his life, our loving stepmom, Wilma. We all knew the way that he looked at Wilma that they would be together until the end. And they were! We all marveled at Bob and Wilma’s devotion to each other, to God, and to their extended families.
He is survived by his loving, and beautiful wife, Wilma; his four children, Roberta Marlene, Roberta Marie, Philip James (Erin), and Cory Richard; his two stepchildren Karen and Kevin Boyce; his grandchildren Adrian, Eric, Celine, Blair, Serena, Alessandra, James, Symone, Renee and Je’Avon; his sister, our favourite Aunt Florence Munroe, and all of his loved nieces and nephews including Uncle Blair. He is predeceased by his sister Betty, his brother Douglas, and his parents Maizie and Collins.
He lived a good life filled with love, kindness, and the best laugh ever. We are so grateful he is at peace, and in the loving embrace of his God.
